Same Leather, Different Hardware

The leather is the same harness leather we use across our split rein line — hand-picked from a small American tannery most of the trade has never heard of. We pay more for it than Hermann Oak. It's worth it.

The buckle ends are built for riders who switch bits often. Unbuckle, swap your bit, buckle back up — sixty seconds, every time.

Paired Together, Born Together

Every set is cut side by side from the same side of leather — same hide, same grain, same weight. No mismatched pair from leftover scraps. They were born together. They ride together.

What You Get

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these work with a snaffle bit or a curb bit? Both. The buckles attach cleanly to any standard bit ring.

What's the difference between 1/2" and 5/8" width? The 1/2" rein is lighter and quicker in the hand. The 5/8" is heavier with more presence at the bit. Both are cut from the same harness leather.

How do I care for them? Wipe down with a dry cloth after use. A light leather conditioner every few months keeps the dark oil rich and the leather supple. Don't soak them — the oil finish is meant to repel water, not absorb it.
