Cinches & Latigos

Handmade latigos, off billets and rear cinches: the rigging that actually holds a Western saddle on. The latigo cinch strap is 12 oz latigo leather, 1.75" by approximately 6', dark oil, with holes every 2" and a lace to tie it to the saddle. Off billets come four ways: plain leather, stitched leather, half-breed latigo, or nylon. For the back, the 3" straight rear cinch is Wickett and Craig harness leather lined with latigo, and a Biothane cinch connector hobble strap keeps it from sliding into the flank. Double-ply harness leather rear billets at 30" replace the ones that dry-rotted on your saddle. There is also a nylon latigo if you want one for the wash rack.

Every leather piece is oiled before it ships. The leather goods are made in the USA by Tyler Shupe and carry a lifetime warranty against defects.
