Unzip it and the left side has a deep sleeve that swallows an iPad or a stack of loose papers, a row of card pockets, and a clear window for a business card or ID. A pen holder sits at the spine, and the right side has a slot cut for a standard legal pad so it sits flat for writing. Contracts, show records, sale-barn receipts, and the tablet all go in one case, and the double zipper opens from either end and keeps them there.

Three Leathers, One Front

The hair-on cowhide is the same hide that goes on rugs and boot bags, tanned with the hair left on so the natural color and pattern stay put. The tooled floral panels are carved leather in a warm tan that stands out against the black case, and the white buckstitch is the same lacing detail you see on show tack. The body and interior are black oil-tanned leather, soft enough to flex open flat and oily enough to shrug off scuffs.
