Size: Small
Leather Color: Light

This is the sheath we build for Rafter P Knives — the one that ships with every fixed blade they sell. Heavy full-grain leather front and back, white-thread stitching all the way around, and twin belt slots that keep it riding flat and steady, cut and stitched one at a time in our shop.

Pick Your Size and Leather

Two sizes, each in your choice of light or dark leather. The small runs about 5" long by 3" wide and carries a blade around 1" wide and 2¾"–3" long. The large runs about 6¼" long by 3½" wide and takes a blade around 1" wide and 3"–3½" long. Measure your blade from the tip to where the handle starts — if it lands between sizes, go large.

Tight on Purpose

Every sheath leaves the bench fitting tight. That's not a flaw — it's the whole design. Leather molds to what it holds, so after a few days of carry the sheath forms to your knife and grips it snug enough to trust horseback, in the truck, or bent over a fence line, with no snap or strap to fumble. Stamped with our maker's mark and built to last a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit knives other than Rafter P?
Yes. We build these for Rafter P Knives, but they're sized by blade, not brand. Any fixed blade around 1" wide with a blade length inside the ranges above will seat and break in the same way.

My new sheath feels really tight. Is that normal?
It is — every sheath is made to fit tight at first so it breaks in well. Work your knife in and out a few times and carry it for a few days; the leather will form to your knife and settle into a snug, secure fit that keeps it put.

Which size should I order?
Go by blade length. Blades 2¾"–3" take the small; 3"–3½" take the large. Right at 3"? Either works, but the large gives the tip more room while the leather breaks in.

How fast does it ship?
These are built and on the shelf, so your sheath ships out quick — no made-to-order wait.
