tooled-leather-bible-cover-hair-on-hide
Tooled Leather Bible Cover with Hair on Hide Inlay, Zippered Western Bible Case

A panel of real hair-on cowhide sits in the middle of a hand-tooled leather frame, and no two hides are alike. A basketweave band runs across the top, floral tooling fills the lower corners, and a tooled braid border runs down both sides, all edged in white stitching. Turn it over and the back is floral tooling edge to edge. A zipper wraps around three sides and closes with a leather pull tab, so your Bible, notes and bookmarks stay put whether it's riding in the truck or sitting beside you on the pew.

Pick Your Hide

There are twelve covers and twelve different hides. Each one is photographed and sold as its own option, so the cover in the photo is the exact cover that ships. Pick a hide and the photo switches to that exact cover. The lineup runs from cream and salt-and-pepper through black-and-white to brindles in red, copper, wheat, chocolate and espresso. The tooling, back, spine and interior are the same on all twelve; only the hide changes. When a hide sells, it's gone.

What's Inside

Unzip it and the inside is lined with embossed floral leather and smooth brown leather panels. Two leather loops hold a pen and a highlighter, so you're ready to underline a verse or jot a sermon note without digging for one. The spine is tooled too, so the cover looks finished standing on a shelf or lying open on a table.

Size & Fit

Closed, the cover measures about 10½" tall by 7½" wide and fits Bibles up to about 9" tall and 7¼" wide.
